Clergy updates



Functionality for ACSA Clergy to update their own contact data
From the Clergy side:
  • Login via the website and enter their username and password.
  • The Clergy can update all their contact details except for their position and location in the church. There is a contact email for Admin if they need to update this data. If they click the email link their unique database ID appears in the message's Subject line.
  • When complete they click Log out to return to the website.

From the Adminside:
  • It is important to see a real-time list of all clergy who have updated their contact details. To do this: click the Updated by Clergy from the Search menu. You will get a list of all Clergy who have updated their data.
  • Click through to any Clergy and to view the record prior to their update, click Update Log (right menu). You will get a list of the previous data including the date and time. This is important for keeping historical data or correcting any errors. You cannot edit this data but you can copy / paste if necessary.
  • Important: once you have verified the changes made, you need to change the person's Status. Each time the member of the Clergy changes thier details, the Updated by Clergy option is automatically updated to Yes. This enables the system to keep a track of who has made any changes. You need to change Updated by Clergy from Yes to No. Indicating you have verified the data and the record is ready for the next time it is changed by the Clergy member.
